You will be staying with us in China Immersion Institute. CII is designed to be both a learning and living environment. A portion of the electricity that we use is generated by solar panels, and our heating system is partially powered by solar collectors. Currently, we are experimenting with lighting the house in the daytime by fiber optic cables that import sunlight into every room. Also, a portion of the food that we serve in our daily meals is produced organically onsite from adjacent fields. While some of these systems mentioned may not be operational for some time, you can see just how far we have gotten in the picture essays of the grounds and facility.

The students' living quarters are spacious to say the least and very-well lit. Every room has a large window and its own bathroom. They are all equipped with desks and chairs, so they function as not just a place to sleep, but a place to live and make yourself at home during your stay at China Immersion Institute. With only a few exceptions, our rooms are designed for double occupancy, which is quite convenient for couples. However, we don't intend to double book them.
